CWMQG Board Meeting
September 26, 2024
Present: Lesley Allen, Tamara Dezellem, Kristen Doerr, Thea Gyde and Cathy Sweeney
Tamara reported survey results re possible “David Owen Hastings” Workshop. Ten members responded that they would prefer a 6-hour workshop. The cost of the workshop is $850 for up to 15 participants. Each participant beyond the initial 15 would be charged $75.00 each. The Board agreed charge members of the CWMQG $40.00 each and to use CWMQG funds to fund any remaining cost of the initial $850.00. If there are less than 15 members who sign up for the training, members may request a family member or friend be added to the roster at the cost of $75.00 each. The Board will check the space at Cordell-Neher and determine the maximum number of participants the space can accommodate. If there are any remaining spaces, the Board will notify the NCWQG that there are ___# of spaces left for the training at a cost of $75.00 each.
Tamara shared 3 possible dates for the training in 2025. She will send an e-mail to membership to determine which date works best for the group. She will then follow up with Mr. Hastings to secure a date and sign a contract, if required.

By-Law Amendment
According to the current By-Laws, the Board of Directors are elected to a two-year term of office. There has been an assumption that the Vice-President would automatically advance to become President after two years, however, there is nothing in the By-Laws to reference this assumption.
